Pushkar Mela is a cattle and camel fair on the sand by Pushkar Lake, Ajmer district, in the week that closes on Kartik Purnima. In 2026 the market days run 17–24 November; the full-moon snan and Brahma temple darshan fall on 24 November.
Pilgrims treat Purnima as the sacred core. Traders treat the earlier days as the hat. This site scopes the panchang to Ajmer, about fifteen kilometres from the ghats — the nearest city we compute.
Before a morning bath or a new purchase, read Ajmer sunrise, tithi, and Rahu kalam. Panchaka in Kartik is possible; check the nakshatra line. Abhijit is a poor match for a 4 a.m. snan; Brahma muhurat is closer to that hour.
Crowd, police notices, and camel-cart rules are not panchang. Use the official mela announcements, then the clocks.
