Hariyali Teej falls when Shravan is green. Women keep a nirjala or phalahar vrat, wear green and red, and swing on decorated jhoolas. In Jaipur the Teej Mata palanquin from the City Palace through Tripolia is the public clock people plan trains around.
The 2026 date is 15 August. Hartalika Teej in Bhadrapada is a later, quieter fast — do not mix the two. Open Jaipur panchang for tithi, Rahu kalam, and a favourable morning watch before you join the procession.
